Welcome to the home page of the VPPA, an organisation set to benefit Pool Players of all nationalities, playing Pool in Vietnam.
The VPPA is an organisation dedicated to supporting the fairplay of tournaments, representing both the Player and the Tournament Host.
Its growing database of players will collate all tournament playing data from affiliated Tournaments, keeping a current, and accurate database of player records and an up-to-date handicap for that player.
VPPA Tournament Hosts will be regularly audited to ensure they are operating their tournaments at the highest standard and that their players are compliant with VPPA conditions.
Memberships will be revoked, or players will be suspended for acts like providing false ID to organisers, playing under another player’s name, or deliberately losing matches to benefit their handicap standings in future matches.

Chris Lee
Founder & CEO
Chris comes from a family of Sports and League Organisers, and has been Captaining Teams and Chairing Sports Organisations for over 30 Years. Alongside his other skills in Marketing, Business Development and soft, people skills, Chris has helped grow and stablise all Sports Organisations that he has touuched.
Chris started out as a snooker player at the age of 14, then moved into English Black Ball Pool, before being first introduced to American 8-Ball nearly 18 years ago in Shanghai. 11 years ago, when he moved to Ho Chi Minh, he set up the very first Pool League in Vietnam, and to date it is still the largest and most successful in the country. Chris is extremely principled regarding sportsmanship and fairplay, and this drives his interest in maintaining fair, and balanced, team sport organisations.
Over the last 5 years, Chris has developed the most accurate Ranking System for Pool Players to be found in Vietnam, taking account of EVERY frame played, by players within his organisation’s structured Leagues and Competitions, which is now able to make live updates to both a players Handicap, as well as their Ranking. His Handicap system is able to accurately predict the expected outcome of two player playing against each other, should they both play to their current form. Any player who plays above or below their current form ranking, is immediately adjusted for future matches, but with nearly 100,000 frames of data already recorded, his system has proven to be very reliable.
